When is it time to change your strings? How do you know when your strings need to be replaced? How often? A few guidelines and demonstrations to aid in developing your sensitivity and awareness of violin or viola string condition. Did you know that playing with more bow pressure wears out your strings more quickly? Hopefully this video will help you better monitor the health of your strings as an ongoing facet of keeping your instrument maintained properly.
