Hogmanay is BBC Scotland's annual live event programme broadcast on Hogmanay, Scotland's New Year's Eve celebration. James performed on the show in 1997.
He performed "Carolina In My Mind" with Colin McFarlane (guitar), Phil Cunningham (accordion), Kevin Wilkinson (drums), Jim Prime (keys) and John Saich (bass).
