In this Mountain Song guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song from Jane's Addiction in its entirety.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

The riffs in "Mountain Song" are pretty easy to play. Dave Navarro changes a couple of parts in more recent live versions, but I will be focusing on the recorded version in this lesson.

For the solo, Dave uses a lot of effects and mostly goes for a choatic noise type of sound. However, at the end of the solo, there are some melody notes that we can play like the record and I will demonstrate those.
