Early rock'n'roll from Texas. Jay (J.B.) Brinkley was a member of western swing bands Crystal Springs Ramblers and Light Crust Doughboys before WWII. In the 50's and 60's he did a lot of session work in Dallas/Fort Worth area and made some records on his own for labels like Majestic, Le Cam and Kliff.
