This jazz drum solo is from the intro of my "4 Bar Jazz Drum Fills" lesson series. Recently, I was reediting some of the lessons from this drum lessons series and decided that this solo was worth uploading. I hope you enjoy it.

For the first 40 years or so of my drumming journey, I was rarely pleased with my performances. I always felt I could do better. It wasn't until about 15 years ago that I finally felt that my playing was satisfactory.
(Equipment details for all of my fellow drum geeks)
*CYMBALS: Zildjian 22" K Constantinople Bounce Ride with 3 rivets, 20" K Constantinople Hi Bell Thin, 14" K Constantinople Hi-Hats.
*DRUM SET: early 80's Gretsch 14x18 bass drum, 8x12 and 14x14 toms, 5.5x14 snare.
*DRUM HEADS: snare and toms - Aquarian texture-coated top & bottom, bass drum - super kick 1 on badder-side and Gretsch head on front (no hole and muffled with a felt strip).
*HARDWARE: DW 5000 strap BD pedal, DW 7000 hi-hat pedal, DW 7000 cymbal stands, DW throne and snare stand.
*STICKS: Vic Firth SD 10s
