During the holiday season, this joyful Season of Light, we are proud to share the music and stories of our scholarship students who all experience the many benefits of having a strong music education. Recent research in neuroscience shows that studying a musical instrument can improve cognitive skills like math and language arts, foster self-discipline, enhance social skills and provide an opportunity for self-expression and emotional well-being.
