Presenting the Joel Astley Band’s performance of “Whopperjawed,” an original track written by guitarist Joseph Barton. This live rendition showcases the band’s seamless blend of blues, soul, and groove, with Joel Astley on harmonica and lead vocals, Joseph Barton on guitar and vocals, Tracy Wilkinson on bass, and Don Montana on drums. Filmed at the historic Spar in Tacoma, this performance brings “Whopperjawed” to life with intensity and authenticity.

Captured by JJR Photography (Jesse James and Adriana Riaño), this video was edited by Jesse James, who also recorded and mixed the audio, giving the band’s sound the full depth it deserves.

I originally thought this song was called Whopper John based on Joel’s announcement at the beginning. Maybe that will be a song someday too.
