John "JR" Robinson - One Of The Most Recorded Drummers Ever | Recreating Iconic Drum Sounds

John "JR" Robinson is undoubtedly one of the most recorded drummers in music history.
He is well known for his work with producer Quincy Jones, including Michael Jackson's multi platinum album "Off The Wall", but also contemporary artists like Lady Gaga, Daft Punk, Madonna, Seal and basically too many to mention them all.
One thing always stays the same: JR's unique feel and flow.
In this video we tried to recreate his drum sound from Chaka Khan's "Ain't nobody", Michael Jackson's "Rock With You", along with Quincy Jones' "We Are The World", Lionel Richie's "All Night Long" and "I'm So Excited" by the Pointer Sisters.
