Highly accurate breakdown of both iconic guitar parts in this famous country classic by Dolly Parton from 1973, Jolene.
I've also included 2 easier levels, so that beginner guitarists can work their way up to this full original fingerpicking version.
The nylon string guitar, played by Chip Young, and the steel string guitar part, played by Wayne Moss, are a masterclass in how to make fingerpicking parts interesting, and blend seamlessly together while supporting the song.
The exact way this intro is played eluded me for years, until I heard the original isolated guitar recordings from the studio master, thanks to Zac Childs posting them in a great deep dive into this song and the guitarists who played on it. I recommend watching it! Here is the link to the video:

He makes an argument for the possibility that another guitarist played the nylon string part instead of Chip Young, but it seems unlikely that any definitive proof exists for that, and there is ample evidence of Chip being credited with it (and claiming himself that he played it).
