Ken Tizzard and Music For Goats is the product of Newfoundland musician Ken Tizzard as he returns to his roots combining his passion for folk, bluegrass, punk and country. For 25 years Tizzard has filled out the low end as the propulsive bassist behind The Watchmen, co-founder and bassist for Canada’s 90’s rock band Thornley and also with Newfoundland’s greatest troubadour Ron Hynes.

Ken Tizzard and Music For Goats is made up of a cast of characters that have been moving about in Tizzard’s life for several years. All discovered in Tizzard’s current hometown of Campbellford, Ontario, Neil Lucy(guitar), Steve Dagg(drums) and Ken Grant(bass) the Goats are ready to share their new sound with the release of “End Of The World.” Ken Tizzard and Music For Goats plan to release three singles in 2021 followed up by a full length LP in Spring of 2022.

In 2020 Tizzard and the Goats recorded a live album composed of Tizzard’s back catalogue titled “Living The Dream” which was followed up at the end of the year with “Sketches Of Christmas.” During the last thee years the band explored new arrangements using acoustic and electric instruments combining elements of Tizzard’s past musical experiences in the world or rock, country, bluegrass and folk. Tizzard’s musical versatility has become a signature, as he once explained, "In the past, I've battled a lot with trying to find a character or niche with my music. Now I realize that maybe I'm a guy who doesn't do the same thing twice. Every record I've done has moved me in a different direction and onto a different career path. That's fine and it's fun!"
