http://www.vladtv.com - Karrine Steffans spoke exclusively to VladTV to clear the air about recent perjury accusations made towards her ex-husband Darius McCrary, their domestic abuse drama, and how Lil Wayne helped her through one of the lowest moments in her life.

Steffans, who was married to the "Family Matters" actor for three years, says she welcomed his son from his previous relationship with open arms. She also says since the actor didn't have a place to live, his son was often left in carseats all day, and was beaten with wooden spoons. While she was approached by the child's mother and her family to help save the child, Steffans was happy to help since she witnessed the alleged child abuse.

She also explains that her kind gesture got the the best of her when McCrary sent child services to the home after believing she called the child services on him. Calling him dangerous, Steffans says he lied to police and told them she wasn't feeding her own son and sold drugs outside of apartment in Los Angeles. Upon further investigation, McCray's claims were null and void, but his domestic violence history with Steffans convinced police to instruct her to get a restraining order.

Steffans explains the one person that helped her walk away from the case was her former boyfriend Lil Wayne. She gleefully talks about how Wayne helped her see who she really was during the stressful time and how he inspired her to keep her own family's well being first.

Through all the stress, taking care of her own child, and mass amounts of legal fees, she decided to walk away from the entire court case and claim perjury to protect her child and herself.

Steffans has since moved on from the turbulent case, but says the child is in the custody of his mother. With the former model happily married for the third time, she recently wrapped up her recent memoir, Vindicated: Confessions of a Video Vixen, Ten Years Later. In the book, Steffans talks honestly about her past and her marriage with McCray. You can pre-order the book on Amazon before it hits shelves, June 2nd.
