In this Beth guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all of the chords to this classic ballad by KISS on acoustic guitar.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

Even though this is a piano based tune, it works very well on acoustic guitar. You will probably see some chord voicings that you are not familiar with since the chord progression wasn't originally written on the guitar.

I will take you through each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording. The most intricate section is the intro with the piano riff. I will give you a couple of options on how to play that, one that is pretty easier and another that is a bit trickier to play.

Keep in mind that this arrangement is not based off of any acoustic guitar version KISS might have played live. Instead, I have focused on transcribing the actual piano chords to the guitar. So my arrangement will probably be different from what you will see KISS or Peter Criss play live.

I hope you guys enjoy learning this KISS classic! Carl...
