Kristina Allen spoken word poetry- Skyline

Standing back to back
Looking at different skylines
Living on different timelines
Not knowing what the truth is
Not knowing if this love has wings
What does my heart desire?
Everything between earth, water wind and fire
I’ve bloomed like the moon flower in the dark
Allowing the hues of pink in the light to open my heart
In the silence of the night, I lay awake,
I create, imaginations, dreams of delight
My hope, my wish, he see’s that he is the key
to unlock and unravel the depth of the sea
My darling you have my heart in your hands
looking at my cards I get the hanged man
Patience, patience
If I told you time is an illusion, there is no need for confusion
Could you transition and be the magician?
Caste a spell of union, binding us together in perfect harmony
Yet there’s no certainty in life or love
The anticipation of the sunrise waiting for the blue skies
White clouds illuminating the reflection in your eyes
I stand tall and face the sun, like one sunflower in a field of none
As our planet slowly spins, I gently hear your inner voice sing
With every day break you turn, to return to clarity
carefully placing your trust in my palm, beautifully and calm
Eye to eye, I give you my word of honour
I give you my strength for us to be stronger
Angels bless for our love to prosper
In your arms, nothing I can’t conquer
In your arms, nothing we can’t conquer
Looking at the same skyline living on the same timeline.
