[Intro: Spoken Word]
In the beginning, God made man in His image, pure and free.
But sin crept in, and with it — death and enmity.
The earth groaned, hearts turned stone, and every soul was stained.
The Law was given to reveal the sickness, but none could cleanse the pain.

As it’s written in Romans 3:10, "There is none righteous, no, not one."
Not by works, not by birthright — no salvation could be won.
Isaiah 59:2 said, "Your sins have separated you from God,"
And death reigned like a tyrant, with every heart flawed.

But God — rich in mercy, slow to anger, abounding in love —
Had a plan before the world began, from His throne above.
To send a Savior, a spotless Lamb, to pay what man could never pay,
And bridge the gap from death to life, to turn the night to day.

[Verse 1: Spoken Word Storytelling]
Why send His Son? Because justice demands the price of sin be paid.
A holy God cannot just look away, pretend the debt’s delayed.
Hebrews 9:22 says, "Without the shedding of blood, there’s no forgiveness."
So God Himself stepped down, not distant — but with us.

John 1:14 — "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us."
Not a prophet alone, not a symbol, but God come down because
Only God can bear the wrath of God, only man can stand for men,
So the Son of God became the Son of Man — the perfect Lamb, Amen.

Not part God, part man — but fully both, divine and dust.
Philippians 2:6-8 — though in very nature God, He came in humble trust.
Born in a manger, walked in our weakness, ate, slept, wept, bled.
But never ceased to be the I AM, the voice the mountains dread.

[Pre-Chorus: Sung]
A promise made, a promise kept, from ancient days foretold,
Isaiah 7:14, "A virgin will conceive," and the world would behold.
Emmanuel, God with us — the wounded He would bind,
To seek and save the lost, to give sight to the blind.

[Chorus]
This is the Good News, the Gospel we declare,
The God who formed the heavens chose a cross to bear.
Grace unearned, a debt we couldn't pay,
But the Risen Son of Glory broke the grave away.

[Verse 2: Spoken Word Storytelling]
They’ll tell you "God can’t become man," but who are we to confine
The Infinite within the limits of our finite, fragile mind?
Jeremiah 32:27 — "I am the LORD, the God of all flesh, is anything too hard for Me?"
And so He came, fulfilling prophecy.

Micah 5:2 — born in Bethlehem, ancient of days.
Isaiah 53 — pierced for our transgressions, despised in human gaze.
Psalm 22 — hands and feet pierced, mocked upon the tree.
And still they say, "He never claimed divinity."

John 8:58 — "Before Abraham was, I AM,"
Not a metaphor, not a slip, but the eternal Lamb.
And they picked up stones, for they knew what He meant —
Blasphemy, unless it’s true, and Heaven’s message sent.

[Spoken Word Rap Bridge]
They say, "If He ate, slept, cried — He can’t be divine."
But divinity wrapped in flesh was always the design.
Colossians 2:9 — "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form."
Not diminished, not divided, but God in perfect human norm.

Fully God to calm the storm, fully man to feel the rain,
Fully God to heal the sick, fully man to bear our pain.
He died — yes, His body laid in a tomb three days cold,
But death couldn’t hold the Author of life, just as foretold.

Psalm 16:10 — "You will not let Your Holy One see decay,"
Luke 24:6 — "He is not here, He is risen," on that third-day sway.
Eyewitnesses saw Him, over 500 strong,
The tomb’s still empty, the movement’s still long.
