Lance's Dark Mood Party Mix Vol. 399 (Trip Hop / Downtempo / Electronica /Chill Out)

Nope, your calendar isn't wrong. I'm releasing this on a Wednesday instead of Thursday. If you care to hear why, read on. Otherwise just skip all this because it will be long, and I really need to vent.

This mix was originally volume 398, which was supposed to go up last week. When I uploaded it several weeks back (as 'unlisted'), it got blocked. Yes, that sucks, but this is exactly why I upload in advance as unlisted, so I have time to fix them if this happens. So, I removed and replaced the tracks that caused the block, re-uploaded it, and everything was fine.... UNTIL 8am last Thursday when I made it public. Suddenly it was blocked! I quickly went to Mix 399, renamed it 398, made it public, and everything was business as usual.

So, what does all this have to do with putting this mix up a day early? Well, next week is Vol. 400, which is a special anniversary mix that cannot be renamed if I happen to run into the same issue as last week. If this mix gets blocked again when I make it public, I'll have time to fix it and put it back up on Thursday. So, assuming that everything went ok, what you are now listening to is the THIRD (and hopefully the last) version of this mix, a day earlier than usual. Enjoy!
