In Lesson 18, we introduce the drum rudiment known as a ‘single-stroke roll', which is effectively just a continuous 'RLRL' sticking. Focus on refining your technique here, playing even strokes throughout. From Exercise 3 onwards, we play single-stroke rolls around the kit and involve the toms.
