In Lesson 5, we introduce the notation for the ride cymbal. The first 3 exercises focus on basic quarter-note patterns incorporating the ride. Exercises 4 and 5 help you transition from the hi-hat to the ride. Exercise 6 uses the ride bell, played with the shoulder of the stick.
