Someone rightly said In Assam, there is a folk song for every stage of life. Literacy India which has turned 25, decided to celebrate with this beautiful Mati -song in the Assamese language. Singers are children who don't know the language, yet the song depicts joy and wants us to go to Assam. We take pride as a nation to have such a rich cultural State as Assam.
Literacy India with its operation in 15 states work with communities that are diverse in their culture and ethnicity, yet our Indian-ness bonds us together. Education, Empowerment, Employ-enablement and saving our Environment are the goals that apply to all the states. And We shall overcome someday and India will not only be a strong nation in the world but also a role model for the world. Maati Song motivates and inspires us to do the same.
Music gives us inspiration and motivation but also has a deep spiritual connection with the world. Young Minds imbibe this easily.
