When Eli la O, the cuban lead singer of Bikini Jazz, walked into the Van Dyke Cafe on Lincoln road she didn't imagine that a night of listening to good music would result in the formation of a band.

Here she met colombian guitarist, and fellow singer, Davidsound. They continued to play together and soon recruited renown venezuelan percussionist Reynaldo Peña.
