This lesson will be looking at 3 important areas you need to know for any jazz standard.
1) The Comping (Chords) - The chords move at a nice tempo, and are very enjoyable to play
2) The Head (Melody) - Lays very nicely on the guitar, fits almost completely in 3rd position.
3) The Solo - The tune is an AB form, with the B section only slightly different then the A. I wrote out the solo for the first A section and the last 4 bars of the B section giving you space to come up with your own ideas, simple idea seem to work well.
