http://www.vladtv.com - Lord Jamar sat down with VladTV and shared his thoughts on the recent video footage of a woman walking the streets of NYC and being catcalled over 100 times throughout the day. Jamar says he understands the point that is trying to be made, but that he doesn't consider what most of the men were doing to be street harassment. The Brand Nubian rapper refuses to accept that a man saying "good morning beautiful" or "have a blessed day" is harassment, but if a man were to pull her arm or try to touch her inappropriately then he'd see their point.
He also spoke of how women dress will often communicate certain things to a man, pointing to a video of a woman walking around NYC in traditional Muslim garb as an example, saying there is a level of respect associated with that style of dress, and that some feminists are unrealistic to believe the man is 100% responsible for unwanted interaction if the woman is wearing something she knows will get attention.
