http://www.vladtv.com - Miami legend Luke recently sat down and discussed his upbringing and how it led to a career in Hip-Hop, saying that he came from a working class family and had four older brothers, all of who reached various forms of success through more traditional means. For example, one was a Physics major at Florida A&M University, while another is a professor at Georgetown University. His third brother attended culinary school and is considered one of the best executive chefs in Miami.
He mentions his older brothers' careers as a preface to the fact that after listening to them have to ask their mother for money all the time while in school, he chose not to go to college, saying it was one of the biggest mistakes of his life. He instead chose to pursue music, starting as a DJ and building his career up to becoming a headlining rapper.
