Lydian Dominant LICK BREAKDOWN! (Rock Fusion Guitar Lesson) | Cameron Allen

In this rock fusion guitar lesson, I show you how to play an excerpt from my "Rock Fusion Jam" performance. This lick is mostly based around the C Lydian Dominant scale, and involves some slippery sixteenth note lines along with some sliding bends and a sliding octaves segment at the end.

First I show you the lick at full speed, then I break it down note-for-note, and finally I put it all together and demonstrate it slowly.

This lick utilizes several techniques, including hybrid picking, alternate picking, and chromaticism. It's a lot of fun to play, and I hope you guys enjoy it!
