The EP will featuring production work from Devaloop, and include a number of international emcees on the tracks. As a preview type jam - I hope that this song serves to entice ones interests for what is to come on the EP.

A throwback joint. Something I might make some what of an annual thing, if the future permits. Even though the reference to which I am throwing back to is over 3 years old now... :Malevmc – Shinobistyle

I wanted to make a more traditional type song once more, but something that signified to my minds eye that of sneaking throughout the night, throwing all types of shadowy raps at enemy ninjas.
The lyrics are still spiced with a bit of introspective content, referinng to heritage, and self mastery.
The other flavors within the words are hints of more boastful skill based lines, loose popculture references, inserted with rythmic structures that I find fun to listen to, and even more fun to throw.

I wanted to signify, and solidify the Shinobi Style once more, with a new anthem. Using/Updating the hook section from the older jam, and flipping it with the newly learned ryhme techniques.

The shinobistyle isn't an interesting or fun name, or something that I use for the sake of outward appearance. Though there are many inspirations -

It comes from a learned & applied/interpreted personal belief system that I have developed through many different readings based on the spirtitual/cultural teachings of the first ninja people during the 15th century; with the inclusion of other practiced spiritual systems, both ancient and contemporary.

In spirit, that is what this song is about.

Much love to devaloop for thinking of me for this work. The same gratitude is extended to B-Side for the mastering work, I am completely stoked on the final rendition of the song, well worth the wait.
