GPM284 comes courtesy of Martin Eyerer, label owner of Kling Klong & Session Deluxe -and wearer of many other hats, including radio production and genre-bending studio work-.
For this, his first foray into the Get Physical family, he teamed up with Berlin producer Ackermann for a three-track EP overflowing with personality. From the hazy Dance In Daylight, with its warm vocal textures and 80s allusions on to The Wolf, an unexpected, metallic-tasting delight of a track that hovers between the robotic and organic thanks to a few cleverly placed bells and woody percussions and, lastly, the ever-practical DJ tool made with The Wolf in mind, this is one EP made as much for a round of dance floor applause as it is for looking out at grey cityscapes from an S-Bahn. Run of the mill, it isn't.
