Let’s take a look at the stranger side of the Marvel universe. Pretty much every one of the Marvel superheroes went through an odd time in their career; a time when they went through a transformation or learned about their secret origins. Or maybe they just had weird writers.
During these times, the heroes often get new powers. Or they learn to use their current powers in weird ways. Ways we'll probably never see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
These powers include things like Thor’s Super Breath, Black Panther’s ability to summon zombies, and the weird things Spider-Man can do with his sticky fingers. Even if they were the product of odd writers, these powers are still a part of our heroes. And they're usually pretty darn useful.
