http://www.secretsolstice.is Secret Solstice will be held in Reykjavik, Iceland -- the most northerly capital city on the planet -- on the weekend of the 20th-22ndof July. The festival is one of the only parties in the world where you can still be going hard in sunlight even at midnight, due to the sun never truly setting on the solstice weekend.

Tired of going to the same old music festivals, in the same old boring places? Have you been dreaming about partying in a land of volcanoes, elves, waterfalls, and glaciers, where the sun never ever sets?
In the name of Odin, it's time to announce Secret Solstice 2014!
Wait, what? The sun doesn't set...?
Because of Iceland's unique geographic location, as well as some astrological witchcraft that's too hard to explain without a PhD in super-science, the sun won't fully go down during Secret Solstice, meaning there will be twenty-four hours of daylight shining over the land of the Vikings.
With the first lineup of kickass artists including Massive Attack, Woodkid and Skream, as well as a host of Iceland's best local talent, there will be no shortage of sweet party juice to keep you going over the weekend. In total, over one hundred acts from around the world will be showing their faces at Secret Solstice, so make certain you keep tuned in for all future lineup announcements.
Apart from an entire weekend of music, you'll be able to take in everything else Iceland has to offer during the event. This will include unique awesomeness you can't do anywhere else on the planet, like bathing in a geothermal pool to get rid of that hangover, or trying some of the country's weird food like horse, whale and fermented shark. Also, there's always the possibility a volcano will erupt while you're there, though we can't guarantee anything.
Secret Solstice will feature a ton of onsite camping, so you'll never need to leave the action if you don't want to. However, if you decide that camping on Iceland's volcanic land isn't for you, there are an epic variety of hotels, hostels and resorts in the vicinity of the festival, many within walking distance.
Iceland may be one of the most isolated places on Earth, though if you're lucky you can sometimes find flights from as little as €50 from the United States or Europe. In other words, there shouldn't be any argument for getting your sweet butt to Secret Solstice when you can make it here for the same price as fifty cheeseburgers, or a pair of jeans.
Super-ultra-mega-earlybird weekend passes will be available from Friday the 7th of February 2014, starting at only €85 for the entire weekend. But you've gotta be quicker than Thor's lightning! Ticket prices will almost double if you wait until the last minute. And remember, even though this is Iceland, the land of magic, dragons still don't exist. If you see one during Secret Solstice, you're probably just too hammered.
