Master violin tips: Paganini Caprice No. 11 in C Major (middle section)

1. Try to be as efficient as possible: use fingerings that will give you the best chance of hitting the most notes in a single position.

2. Think outside the box: Don’t be afraid to stretch sometimes instead of shifting.

3. Let the left hand “lead” the bowing arm: your fingers need to be in place first, before you play them.
