Word to Spike Lee, "#OscarSoWhite...Again," and this year several African-Americans - Lee included - have chosen to boycott the ceremony in another attempt to bring attention to the absence of Black Academy Award nominees. Straight Outta Compton was notably left out of this year's list of contenders aside from the writers of the screenplay who happen to be White. While Ice Cube decided to pay the snub no mind, fellow N.W.A. member MC Ren expressed his disappointment with VladTV exclusively, stating "they want to keep that show as White as possible."
