Jason Newsted is arguably the most accomplished metal bass player ever to walk the earth, and although he strums a Sadowsky these days, he made his bones with a Spector.

The opening track from Metallica’s eponymous fifth LP, forever known as The Black Album, Enter Sandman helped establish the San Francisco quartet as the biggest metal band in the world. With its doomy, minor key riff, it was the track that set the template for metalheads the world over.
