It is still winter and highway driving becomes a bit more challenging and dangerous..... Being extra careful is a must.

This is part of my drive from San Francisco, California to Seattle, Washington (which passes through Oregon).
The distance is about 800 miles (about 1,300 kilometers).
On a good day it usually takes about 12 hours to drive the distance. This time it took me 13 hours with 2 stops, for food, stretching, and gasoline. It was raining hard (real rain!) in the long stretch of Highway-5 in Oregon all the way to Tacoma, Washington!
