When the snow-capped mountains of white meet the scarlet flowers of red, bright tunes of #Satar (Uygur long-necked bowed lute) begin to play. Imagery full of natural wonders emerges where people dance passionately.
"Red Flowers on Icy Mountains" is adapted from the 1963 movie “Visitors on the Icy Mountain” interlude "Why the Flowers Are So Red", combining traditional Chinese musical instruments with Uygur music styles to praise the beauty of life.
