Baby John is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Kalees and produced under Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, Vipin Agnihotri Films and A for Apple Productions. The film, that serves as an adaptation of Atlee's 2016 Tamil film Theri, stars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh (in her Hindi debut), Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna and Jackie Shroff.
The film was officially announced in the month of July 2023 under the tentative title VD18, as it is Varun's 18th film as the leading actor, and the official title was revealed in February 2024. Principal photography commenced in August 2023. Filming was held in Mumbai and Kerala and wrapped by April 2024. The film has music composed by Thaman S, while the cinematography and editing are handled by Kiran Koushik and Ruben respectively.
Baby John is scheduled to be released on 25 December 2024.
