Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn provided the groove on some of the most revered hits of ’60s soul and R&B music, including Otis Redding’s ‘Dock Of The Bay’, Wilson Pickett’s ‘Midnight Hour,’ and Sam & Dave’s ‘Hold On, I’m Coming.’

He was the first-choice bassist for Booker T. & the M.G.’s, and if that wasn’t enough, he was the uber-cool bass player for the hit movie, The Blues Brothers!

In today’s video, we’re taking a trip to the East Coast to meet Duck’s son Jeff, and his biographer Nick Rosaci, for a closer look at some of his incredible basses, including a Fender P Bass with a Serial number 0001.

As always, see you in the shed…

Scott :)
