What really is breath support? ????
Is it squeezing your abs?
Is it engaging your diaphragm?
Actually… it’s neither!
Squeezing your abs can lead to a lot of tension and it is physically impossible to control your diaphragm as it is relaxed on your exhalation ????????♀️
So how does one sing with support?
I like to think of support as a steady breath exhalation.
That’s it!
Your support is your breath and all you need to do is just learn to control your exhalation!
