Jin was personally very excited for the match between Keith and Fredro, and he grew up as a fan of both. He addressed some of the criticisms that have been expressed by fans and battlers about their battle, and defended their right to be able to jump into the lyrical ring and compete just like anyone else. Jin addressed showing respect to the "OG's" of Hip Hop, and not forgetting what they have done to pave the way for the popular artists present in the culture today. He credited the classic battle between Bizzy Bee vs. Kool Moe D, as one of the rocks that helped mold Battle Rap into what it is today.
