Heftig: Ganze 150.000 € hat Kool Savas dank seines Charity-Projekts Rap4Good an die United Kids Foundation spenden können, die sich gegen Kinderarmut stark macht.

Gesammelt wurde das Geld durch ein Konzert mit Acts wie Genetikk, KC Rebell, Curse, RAF Camora, Vega, Die Orsons, Montez und Laas Unltd., die entsprechend auf ihre Gage verzichtet haben.

Das Geld wird von der United Kids Foundation für das Projekt "Hauptschul-Power" eingesetzt, das talentierte und finanziell benachteiligte Kids in Hauptschulen der Region unterstützen soll. Laut Steffen Krollmann, dem Schirmherrn des Projektes, haben sich schon 50 Klassen beworben.

Das Konzept hinter Rap4Good ist es, simpel formuliert, Kindern und Jugendlichen mit Hiphop zu helfen. Rapper und andere Persönlichkeiten aus dem Hiphop sollen als Coaches fungieren, bundesweit Workshops organisieren und Talenten fördern. Die stumpfe Übersetzung "Rap für Gutes" passt und der Start ist gelungen.
