Passion Project - Cliff "The Poetic Balladeer (Spoken Word Music Video)
Cliff Kellogg “The Poetic Balladeer”, a Washington, DC resident has a passion for writing about love and romance between a King and his treasured Queen.
Matters of the heart dealing with healing and encouragement are other themes that Cliff explores intensely! Visual art is Cliff’s first love. Drawings and paintings are the genesis of his passionate expressions.
Combining poetry with songwriting takes his artistry to another level! Performing poetry and song at various Open Mic venues throughout the DMV area is immensely rewarding and the positive feedback from audiences fuels Cliff’s fire and inspires him to reach new heights.
In 2023, Cliff entered the Spoken Word to GoGo Competition sponsored by the Anacostia Business Improvement District. He made it through to the top 10 contestant round! Although 1st place victory didn’t happen, Cliff is immensely appreciative of the wonderful experience of competing at something that is truly his PASSION. Speaking of PASSION, this leads us to his completed spoken word poem video entitled “Passion Project!” This video would not be possible without the impeccable words from Charles Stewart.
