http://www.vladtv.com - QOTR's 40 B.A.R.R.S., Ms. Miami, and MyVerse all spoke about the growing plastic surgery craze in this clip from their exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.
They explained how society operates in ways that promote insecurities and a burning desire to constantly improve one's appearance. They stated that while men often view women with an emphasis put on their physical appearance, women are also guilty of objectifying themselves. They all praised Battle Rap for being a platform where natural beauty is accepted, and they hope that the influences of the mainstream don't negatively affect the culture for the female battlers as time progresses.
When asked if they would alter their image for millions, the responses were very interesting. MyVerse and Miami were reluctant to accept the hypothetical deal for $35 million if they got butt and boob implants, along with a face job. However, 40 B.A.R.R.S. was down to accept the deal if it is ever presented to her. When the same scenario was presented without the inclusion of a face job, all three stated that they would take the money.
