http://www.vladtv.com - Singer/songwriter The-Dream sat down with VladTV correspondent DJ Heat and shared his thoughts on The Grammys, as he wrote and produced for Beyonce's last album and would have been a winner that night as well if she took home the trophy for "Album of the Year," an award she lost to Beck.

The-Dream feels in order for an album to be one of the best of the year, it has to be able to cross genres and cultures, which he believes Beyonce's latest album did. He feels that Beck's album, however, didn't reach beyond his core audience and therefore believes Bey should have won. He also goes on to say he still doesn't believe he lost "Song of the Year" to Amy Winehouse who beat out the monster hit he wrote for Rihanna, "Umbrella."

See what else the Atlanta native had to say about the Grammys above.
