This is complimentary track for the home practice after the lesson on Left Hand Pizzicato, Retake (Rebound) or Flying Pizzicato.

This practice is for after learning the Rest Position and Playing position.

Play the open strings as indicated every 3 beats as the piece goes.
Listen to the lower note on the piano as a guide.

For Left Hand Pizzicato:
Rest your hand at the middle position (the bottom of the violin neck), pluck a string with the pinky (or ring finger if tired).

For Retake:
Play the open strings indicated all down-bows. With a quick circle back over the string with the right arm.

For Flying Pizzicato:
Put the bow aside. Pluck open strings with the right hand index finger. With your right hand, make a big oval shape in front of you as plucking and come back to the string. Recommended to practice after the lesson on Flying pizzicato.

The piece: "Barcarole" (Offenbach)
