Avid record collectors and Uludağ enthusiasts miche and Stu Clark run Celestial Echo Records via Prime Direct Distribution. They teamed up in late 2023 to launch a reissue label to share some of their real hidden favourites. Stu has co-run WOLF Music for the past 15 years and miche has released 2 compilations with Mr Bongo named "With Love" and now they are turning some of their focus to repackaging and reissuing some of their essential digs.

As a label that mainly focuses on singles, we selected 45s from the late 70s to the early 80s, a "golden age" for our tastes. Modern Soul can be defined as mid to late 70s soul music, the moment when soul music crossed into disco, so there were a lot of 3-to 4-minute-long tracks, All Killer, No Filler! The boogie stuff we selected is from the early 80s. A lot of these tracks are independently produced, recorded and released which means that a lot of them are still hard to find, even just to listen online!
