Here is a mini excercise of playing syncopation very slow at metronome marking =77. but the metronome is displaced by a triplet. So the metronome is actually on the second "trip" of the triplet. This really keeps you honest as far as whether you are rushing or dragging or really locking in! I hope you get some good info and enjoy this mini drum lesson!
