Word obviously got around quickly, as Monta immediately took note of blog post and showed up to a heated rivalry vs. the San Antonio Spurs and dropped a season high 38 points in a 101-94 victory.

Monta in this post-game interview talks about the team's success, how they came out aggressive early, and how although the Spurs jumped out to a 12-point lead in the first quarter, his team was able to overcome the deficit and play their style of ball to win.

Ellis also talks about how he didn't necessarily try to create shots for himself, but took what the defense gave to him. Since the regular season is winding down, this game versus the spurs holds a lot of playoff implications and seeding going forward, and Monta stated that this matchup felt like a playoff atmosphere type game.
