Rarely performed track and great possibilty to get an idea of Perkins playing a country guitar-arrangement for this rockabilly classic, written by him. He's not relying on the for perkins more common fiery blues pickin.
The improvised guitar arrangement includes rockabilly shuffle's relying on walking Boogie Woogie (bass) figures during the chorus. Verses use Rockabilly pickin a la Scotty Moore (Bass notes + fingerpicked bluesy notes). Solo parts remind of Perkins' time when he was touring with the Tennessee Three and Johnny Cash (1968-1973 or 1974).
It's very licky this Show in Germany was filmed like this. Thanks for sharing!
