“Music 101: A Crash Course for Parents,” presented by Soumya Maradona Ghosh (B.A., B.Ed., M.A., Cambridge, UK). Mr. Soumya Maradona is a Cambridge-educated Music Therapist, Music Teacher and performer with decades of experience. He began playing music at age 5, performed professionally by his mid-teens, and started teaching by 17. Over the years, he has taught various curricula (IB, IGCSE) and examination boards (Trinity College London, ABRSM, Rockschool), worked with children of diverse backgrounds (including special educational needs), and even co-founded the Crossroads School of Music in Mumbai and London.

In this workshop, he draws on his extensive expertise – including an M.A. in Music Therapy – to guide parents through the fundamentals of music education and its benefits.
