Your ears are probably much better than you realize. If our ears weren't great at hearing and understanding music, we wouldn't be able to recognize melodies when transcribed into a new key or played with a wrong note. This is a skill even most non-musicians can do, and our ears can be improved by adding vocabulary to the concepts they already know. Use the exercises in this video to test your basic ability to discern pitch and begin your ear training journey.
