Hi everyone! It has been a year since I shared a Musical story with you, Beethoven’s “Moonlight” in a beautiful video created by Emmy awarded producer-director duo. A lot has happened in the meanwhile, one of the exciting news being my new collaboration with Aleksandra Suklar, a dear friend and an exceptional percussionist and musician. She just came back from Hans Zimmer Live Tour (yes, THAT Hans Zimmer who won an Oscar for The Lion King and Dune soundtracks:). The fact the she has been selected among musicians from all around the world to be the main percussionist of the tour AND a solo percussionist of the core band of Hans Zimmer Live says more than any written word. We started contemplating how to join our instruments last year, having cheap lunch on the floor of her studio in Vienna and finally selected a cool and groovy piece by A: Gerassimez: “Piazonore” , composed in 2014 for a unique vibraphone-piano duo. “Piazonore” became super popular since then (rightfully so) and we are excited to present you our version, recorded in Yamaha hall Vienna (thank you Yamaha for an amazing grand piano selection!) by Vienna Recordings (thank you Tomasz and Jivko).
