This is one of my best intermediate guitar lessons! In this quick tip lead guitar lesson we will look at the notes of each chord (chord tones) to create some great blues rock guitar solos. As a beginner we should be learning these lead guitar techniques. Let’s start connecting our lead lines with the chords! The key is using these chord tones with movement! This is the best advice I can give to a beginner or intermediate guitar player. I wish I was shown this early on myself! Just playing up-and-down scales is not the way to create a connected sounding lead guitar solo.
