Myself First is a powerful statement on personal identity and how it can be lost trying to conform to beauty standards and constantly trying to change our appearances.Simply put it's hard to be a woman in this world and no matter how much knowledge, talents or skills you have it seems to come back to how you look.

However, makeup has the power of transformation and can give women the self confidence they need to survive in this world and make a success of themselves. Makeup and hair can be life changing. Makeup and hair can save the day and make all the difference in the world turning an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. Still many women are suck of being judged purely for their looks especially knowing how fake the and tiresome the whole process is. Though it is hard to be a woman everywhere, it is especially hard to be a woman in South Korea. South Korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world and where this video was shot.

The video is shot with a blurry lens as a metaphor of losing sight of ourselves and our own identity in the pursuit of the material world. You can look wonderful on the outside, but knowing it is all hair and makeup, it can really take a toll on your own self image and you can find yourself looking beautiful, but full of insecurities and doubt because your inner essence is hidden behind lawyers of makeup and costumes.
